Over the past few weeks we have been concentrating a great deal on the over saturation of keywords within the design world, specifically the use of the terms “branding”, and “brand design”. It’s an interesting phenomena, the amount of designers who abuse this word just as heavily as advertisers, marketers and business-people alike.
Using Googles new N’gram Viewer, I put in the terms “corporate branding” and “identity design” and searched for it’s appearance in english literature over the past 111 years.
